LED starter za cijev je komponenta koja se ugrađuje u grlo žarulje umjesto klasičnog fluorescentnog startera. Njegova je zadaća zatvoriti električni krug i omogućiti ispravan rad LED žarulja u žaruljama prilagođenim tradicionalnim T8 fluorescentnim žaruljama.
